Big Dom sets the record straight on wild AJ Brown-Jalen Hurts conspiracy theory: ‘Could not have been more adamant’

Big Dom is trying to put an end to the speculation.

On Tuesday’s segment of “Good Morning Football,” NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo said that Dom DiSandro, the senior advisor to Eagles general manager Howie Roseman, knows what goes on within the Eagles building and that the unverified rumor about AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts’ relationship isn’t true.

“He could not have been more adamant,” Garalofo said of DiSandro’s thoughts on the situation. “That story is complete and utter bupkes.”

The conspiracy theory claimed that Brown and former Eagle Haason Reddick were involved with the same massage therapist in 2023, and Brown didn’t know about Reddick’s involvement.

It further went on to claim that Hurts knew about the situation but decided not to tell Brown, leading the receiver to feel betrayed and causing locker room tension.

The rumors started on social media and had not been confirmed by any reputable source.

While Hurts and Brown had been very close since college, rumors of bad blood in their relationship have been prevalent over the last year.

Though Brown admitted the two aren’t as close as they once were, the newly acquired Patriots receiver said there’s no issue between them.

“There’s actually still a lot of love,” Brown said last Thursday on the “7 PM in Brooklyn” podcast hosted by Carmelo Anthony. “I love him. I love him to death. I want him to succeed and accomplish all the things he wants to accomplish.

“I didn’t truly understand why our friendship became the center of everybody’s attention when it came to football, because looking back on it, we haven’t been as close as we were a couple of years now, but that didn’t stop anything. We still competed, we still pushed each other, we still led the team.”

On June 1, the Eagles traded Brown to the Patriots for a 2028 first-round pick and 2027 fifth-rounder. The trade reunites Brown with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, as they spent three years together with the Titans from 2019-21.

Now without Brown, the Eagles are looking to build off an 11-6 2025 season where they fell to the 49ers in the wild-card round.

Their season begins on Sept. 13 against the Commanders.
