Tony Khan is set to host this week's AEW Collision that will feature the aftermath of the exciting Dynamite episode of Blood & Guts. Speaking of Blood & Guts, the company featured two blockbuster matches in the barbaric steel structure that impressed the majority of the fanbase all across the globe. Now, there is good news for All Elite Wrestling related to viewership for the show.

For the past few weeks, AEW has been struggling to have consistent viewership for its shows. While Collision was performing decently, Dynamite had its ups and downs over the past few months. However, the Blood & Guts managed to pull out a great number for Tony Khan amid these times.

As per Programming Insider, this week's Dynamite averaged at 600,000 viewers, which is higher than last week's episode, which averaged at 497,000 viewers. Besides, with this big draw, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT this week in terms of viewership, which averaged at 554,000 viewers on the CW Network.

In the P18–49 demographic, Dynamite pulled a 0.15 rating, which was over twice as high as NXT’s 0.07 for the week. It was partly due to the all-star main event of AEW that featured a Blood & Guts showdown between Death Riders and Team Darby Allin.

Tony Khan talks about his dream celebrity signing to AEW

Tony Khan has managed to build a strong roster for his promotion over the past six years. He has proven to be a good booker when it comes to building pay-per-views and special events. Recently, the AEW President talked about a celebrity he wants to sign to All Elite Wrestling down the line.

Speaking at Sportico’s Invest in Sports: New York, Khan said that he named Shaquille O'Neal as someone he wants to sign to All Elite Wrestling someday, if it is possible.

“For me, the best person we had and I would love for him to come back any time, would be Shaq.” he said [H/T: f4wonline.com]

O'Neal previously appeared in AEW in 2021 for a notable tag team match. However, Khan seems to be planning to sign the celebrity for a full-time role in the promotion. Only time will tell if that will happen someday or not.
