One of former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho's future appearances has just been revealed following a major announcement made earlier today. His band is set to join a big-scale event in a few months.

The multi-time world champion has not been seen in the ring in almost seven months. His last appearance was for AEW Dynasty back in April, where he lost the ROH World Championship to Bandido. He has since then only made appearances at music events with his band, as well as at other conventions and major signing events.

Fozzy has just announced that they will be part of this year's Sonic Temple Festival in Columbus, Ohio. The band will be playing during Day 1 on May 14th. Fans will get to catch Chris Jericho in his element away from the ring as he is set to perform at the same event as some of the top rock bands in the industry.

"Your @sonictemplefestival lineup is here and we are playing on the MAIN STAGE on Thursday, May 14th in Columbus, Ohio to kick off your Day 1 with some ROCK 🤘🎸 All pass types are on sale now. Secure your spot inside The Temple starting at only $1 down at our link below ↙️ #SonicTemple2026" the band announced.

Several companies, apart from WWE and AEW, are interested in Chris Jericho

A major discussion surrounding The Nueve is his wrestling future. His contract is set to expire by the end of 2025, and there has been no indication yet of where he will be headed next. There have been heavy rumors and speculation regarding a return to WWE should he choose not to re-sign with AEW.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has reported that, apart from the two major wrestling juggernauts, there seem to be at least two other major companies on a national or global level who are interested in bringing Chris Jericho in.

“In addition to WWE, there are at least two other companies on a national/global level who are interested in having Jericho appear for their show. AEW is also in there. That doesn’t include AEW. So there’s WWE, AEW, and at least two other national-size promotions.” [H/T RSN]

As Chris Jericho's AEW contract winds down, sources in a number of national and global-level companies have told myself and @FightfulSelect they have interest in Chris Jericho. Among them is WWE. More details for subscribers

The veteran remains a top prospect despite no longer being in his prime. With the year coming to a close, fans should continue staying tuned for some possible developments in this major scoop.

Growing up, Enzo admired former world champions like AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, Bryan Danielson, Triple H, and Randy Orton for their finishing moves. As an adult, he started to appreciate their character work, as they juggled between heel and babyface gimmicks.

If allowed to produce one final storyline involving his idols, he would have Orton lock horns with John Cena, would be their one last big feud as both of them seem to be approaching the tail end of their careers.

Other than pro wrestling, Enzo enjoys keeping up with Basketball, Football, and Formula One. He also loves watching films, playing video games, and listening to music.
