The most effective moves for Swampert to use in this game are:

• Liquidation
• Earthquake
• Ice Punch
• Poison Jab

Earthquake is the only move that Swampert wants to run that it learns by leveling up, starting level 50.

Liquidation is Swampert's choice of STAB Water-type move that it must learn using a TM. Ice Punch and Poison Jab provide the creature with much-needed answers to Grass-types that threaten it with 4x super-effective damage.

With these moves, Swampert and Mega Swampert can be effectively used as bulky physcial attackers.

Best nature for Swampert in Pokemon Legends Z-A

Adamant (+Atk., -Sp. Atk.) is the best nature for Swampert to have, as it boosts the damage of the creature's attacks. With base 110 Attack (150, when it Mega Evolves) this is the offensive stat you should invest in for the best results.

If you don't get a Swampert that already has this nature, you can give it an Adamant Mint. This item can be purchased from flower stalls in Sushi High Roller, Wild Zone 3, and Jaune Plaza.
