Best Randy build in Duet Night Abyss (Early Game): Weapons, Demon Wedges, and more

Randy is one of the many characters in Duet Night Abyss that you can unlock through the Covert Commissions. He is a playable Electro support who provides sustenance to his team by providing shields. You will technically want to use him as a combat support member when playing the game solo.

This guide will cover the best build guide for Randy in Duet Night Abyss.

Best weapons for Randy in Duet Night Abyss

Given that Randy is a support character who is proficient with the sword weapon type in Duet Night Abyss, and as he scales off Defense, the best choice for him is the Ingenious Tactics. This sword increases the DEF of the user by +100.0% and when you deal damage, there is a chance of decreasing the enemy's shield by 350.0% of the user's DEF.

His other weapon choices include the Pyrothirst, which is also great for Lisbell in DNA, or the Tetherslash. He is not proficient with these weapons, but given their passive gives an increased 36% skill duration, these will work in his favor.

He is proficient with Pistols, but you will have to use the free Arclight Apocalypses bow. You will obtain this weapon once you hit Trial Rank 45 in DNA, from the Bon Voyage event. This bow is easily available and increases your Skill Duration by 30%. Besides, it grants the entire party a random buff from the following when you score a crit hit:

• +20.0% ATK
• +20.0% DEF
• +15% Skill Damage
• +20.0% Skill Duration

He does not have any Consonance weapon, so you do not have to worry about weapon Demon Wedges.

Best Geniemon

The Catizz is by far the best Geniemon choice for him in the game. It gives the entire party an extra 225 shield points and restores their Sanity by 9.0. It also gives the entire party an extra Electro Damage Bonus.

Best combat partners for Randy in Duet Night Abyss

Similar to how their relationship is in the story of the game, he becomes a valuable team member for Sibylle. You will always use her as the on-field DPS character and him as the backline support.

• Truffle and Filbert: Support (Can heal the team)

As of the launch version of the game, he can only be fit into one team.
