New York Yankees first baseman Ben Rice's girlfriend, Sara, celebrated his debut as host of the Hot Stove event on Saturday at Rivier University in Nashua, N.H. Rice, the 2020 Futures League Most Valuable Player with the Worcester Bravehearts, earned the honor earlier in his career.

With 51 RBIs in 73 games and honors in 2019 and 2020, his performance in the Futures League led the Yankees to draft him in the 12th round in 2021.

Rice’s girlfriend, Sara, posted a story on her Wear Robyn Instagram page. The story features Sara in a tan-tone casual outfit, while Rice wore a blue t-shirt with black pants. He was holding his honor.

Rice joined Worcester in 2019, the summer after his freshman year at Dartmouth. He posted a .392 batting average in 27 games and hit three home runs in the title game against the Bristol Blues.

Sara shared a clip on Instagram featuring the New York City Marathon, which took place on November 2. Over 50,000 people completed the 26.2-mile run from Staten Island to Central Park.

Rice’s girlfriend, Sara, ran with her father. They wore matching navy blue t-shirts with the highlights “S.Fox” and “M.Fox.

Sara is a former hockey player from Dartmouth College and is also pursuing a master’s in Design Engineering at Harvard University. She founded Robynfit, a redesigned sports bra.

Ben Rice and Sara were high school sweethearts who supported each other's careers.
