Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are in a league of their own when it comes to co-parenting.
The former couple, who were married from 2005 to 2018, have continued to stay close over the years for their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
On Friday, the family took their summer adventures to Boston’s Fenway Park to watch the Red Sox face off against the Tampa Bay Rays.
In footage shared on the MLB’s X account, Affleck, 52, and Garner, 53, sat front row in the crowd.
Two of their kids, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13, were in attendance as well.
Missing from the night out was Violet, 19.
In the clip, Affleck supported his home team in a green Red Sox hat while Garner sported a red and white striped shirt. The two were chatting before the “Accountant” actor playfully nudged the “Alias” alum.
Garner then nodded her head “yes” and smiled.
“Great Red Sox family right there, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner and their kids,” NESN commentator Dave O’Brien said in the video.
Affleck and Garner first met on the set of “Pearl Harbor” in 2000, while the actress was married to Scott Foley.
In 2003, the pair reunited for “Daredevil,” but at that point Garner was still with the “Felicity” actor, 52, and Affleck was engaged to Jennifer Lopez.
The “13 Going on 30” star split from Foley in 2004. Meanwhile, the “Hypnotic” alum and the singer, 55, also called off their two-year engagement.
Affleck and Garner stepped out as a couple for the first time at the Boston Red Sox World Series game that same year.
By 2005, the two made it official and walked down the aisle. Garner and Affleck split in 2015, just days after their 10th wedding anniversary.
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” Affleck and Garner said in a joint statement at the time. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”
They finalized their divorce three years later in 2018.
Over the years, Affleck and Garner have maintained a strong co-parenting relationship.
“Jen is a superhero mom,” he gushed to E! News in 2016. “She is an amazing mother and I’m really lucky to have her as a partner to coparent these kids with. We try our best, we put them first and that’s what we do.”
Getting candid on their dynamic, the dad-of-three told GQ in March, “I’m really lucky that I have a really good coparent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.”
Despite their close bond, Garner and Affleck have both moved on romantically.
The “Family Switch” star has been dating John Miller since 2018. Garner and the CEO have kept largely out of the spotlight over the years. They split in 2020 before reuniting in 2021.
“They took a long break from dating, but Jen is very happy that they are back together,” a source told People in 2023.
For Affleck’s part, he was tied to his “Deep Water” co-star Ana de Armas in 2020.
However, the romance was short-lived, and by 2021, the Boston native had reunited with Lopez.
The former flames tied the knot in July 2022 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas before saying “I do” for a second time at Affleck’s estate in Riceboro, Georgia, the following month.
Lopez filed for divorce on the anniversary of their second wedding ceremony.
Despite the split, Affleck remains on good terms with Lopez and her 17-year-old twins Emme and Max, whom she shares with ex Marc Anthony.
“The kids are here, Jen’s kids are here. I’m very, very excited,” the Oscar winner gushed on the red carpet for “The Accountant 2” in April. “I love when all the kids come out.”
“I don’t read the stuff online much, and sometimes I get the sense that people perpetuate the idea of … they wanna find something negative to talk about,” Affleck added.
“For the record, Jennifer Lopez is spectacular, great to my kids, great ongoing relationship with them,” he continued. “I love her kids. They’re wonderful. She’s [an] enormously important, tremendous person of a lot of integrity who I adore and am grateful to.”
