• You may consider her lucky or unlucky, but it's still a cute story. Now she has more than just a cat. What's so surprising is that the vet didn't realize the cat was pregnant. Even someone looking at the cat with just their eyes untrained should have been able to recognize that the cat is pregnant. If you've ever seen a pregnant cat, it's pretty obvious. They're usually pretty big and especially around the belly. The same that it's immediately obvious when a woman is very pregnant.

• This reminds me of another time I was at a brewery. There was one cat who hung around all day every day. Everyone called her “Mike” because it was the name if the brewery, and no one realized she was a girl. She got bigger and bigger. People expressed their questions, their concerns, and their theories as to why Mike was getting bigger. Everyone just thought she was being fed too many French fries. But it turns out Mike was not Mike at all, he was a she, and she was pregnant. She had 4 kittens and they were all adopted and taken home by regulars who worked there. Sometimes these kinds of stories are the cutest because the element of surprise and new life combine to form something beautiful.
