The Chicago Bears are going about things in the right way.
First, they brought in Montez Sweat to lead their pass rush.
Then, they added Darrell Taylor last year to help Sweat. That didn't work, though.
Now, the Bears might need a new pass rusher.
Bleacher Report's Matt Holder wants Chicago to trade for an edge player before the season starts.
"This time last year, the Bears were looking to add a pass-rusher to play opposite Montez Sweat and settled on Darrell Taylor," Holder writes. "But he didn't pan out with a career-low three sacks in 2024, so Chicago let him walk during free agency. Now, it's back to square one for Chicago general manager Ryan Poles, meaning he should explore the trade market for an edge-defender again."

Poles just got a big contract extension, and moves like this could help him stick around.
Pass rushers are crucial in the modern NFL. Sweat is a good one, and he needs a sidekick.
Chicago definitely needs to be on the lookout to find one.
