The Chicago Bears signed a veteran quarterback to potentially be Caleb Williams' backup.
But it's a bit of a bumpy start.
The Bears placed new guy Case Keenum on the non-football injury list to start training camp.
The good news: Keenum can be activated at any time, because it's the Active/NFI list.
The bad news: There's just a little uncertainty for the Bears at the most important position in sports.

Clearly, having a healthy Williams is the most important thing, and the second-year star is doing fine.
Hopefully, Keenum can join him soon to help mentor the young QB.
