The Chicago Bears spent the last three weeks without their starting quarterback, but it seems like that is about to change.
Caleb Williams has been sidelined since the end of the Week 2 loss vs. the Minnesota Vikings after suffering a right hamstring injury. Without Williams, the Bears went 2-1 with backup quarterbacks Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent leading the way, and while that was a respectable showing, the team is ready to welcome its starter back.
With the Bears set to play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, Williams is on track to return to the field. Chicago will need Williams to add some juice to an offense that had a rough showing last week against the rival Green Bay Packers.
Here's the latest on Williams' Week 6 status.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 17, 2026Williams was listed as questionable throughout the week as he continued to rehab from a hamstring injury but was a full participant in each of Chicago's three practices. The expectation was always that Williams would be able to play as long as he got through the week healthy, which appears to be the case.
Williams hinted at his return on Friday, when he reposted a hype video of himself on TikTok.
