After dropping a contest to the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, the Chicago Bears are looking to get back on track as they sit in last place in the NFC North.
The North has already been the best division in football, so saying Chicago needs its star quarterback back would be an understatement. Williams went down with a tough injury a couple of weeks ago, and there was some questioning about whether he'd return before the end of the year. However, it was later reported that it was just a hamstring injury that was going to be fine in a couple of weeks.
As for when those couple of weeks might be over, the latest report suggests Williams could return for the Bears on Sunday in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons.
“It looks pretty good for Caleb Williams to return this week... there's a pretty good chance that we see him on Sunday,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport said.
Getting Williams back against Atlanta should be a top priority for the Bears, as Atlanta has surprisingly played pretty well all season.
The Falcons are coming off a tough loss against the Baltimore Ravens, though that was a game they definitely could have won. With Williams healthy, the Bears can beat any team, so making sure he's good to go and 100% himself needs to be a priority.
