Colston Loveland is going to have plenty of attention on him when training camp opens up for the Chicago Bears.
That's what happens when you're picked No. 10 overall in the NFL Draft out of Michigan.
Loveland is just hoping his shoulder is ready to go.
He's recovering from surgery to repair the AC joint in his right shoulder.
At his football camp last week, he was seen throwing the ball left-handed, according to Aaron McMann of MLive.
Training camp gets going for the Bears at the end of this week.
Loveland gave McMann an update on the shoulder:
“It’s been good. There haven’t really been live bullets flying yet. We’ll really know in camp once I get out there, doing a lot more stuff.”

Sounds like it's a bit of a fingers-crossed approach for Loveland.
The Bears don't necessarily need him to be a star right away. They still have Cole Kmet at tight end, too.
But with everyone trying to learn new coach Ben Johnson's offense, and the tall task it is for a rookie to get up to speed in the NFL, it'd probably be better for everyone if Loveland is out there on the field as close to full strength as can be.
