Mason Greenwood could reunite with Marcus Rashford at Barcelona after the Catalan side scouts watched the former Manchester United star scoring four goals against Le Havre, according to The Sun.

The 23-year-old forward has been on sensational run since joining Marseille and has already scored 29 goals and 10 assists across 47 appearances since his £26m [$34] move last summer.

Barcelona scouts attended the 6-2 demolition of Le Havre earlier this month and left the stadium deeply impressed by what they witnessed from the former Man United academy graduate.

Greenwood first revived his career during a loan spell at Getafe in the 2023/24 season where he registered 10 goals and six assists in 36 La Liga appearances.

His five-year contract at Marseille has seen him flourish even further with 22 goals and five assists in his debut campaign at the Stade Velodrome.

Man United will have windfall if Barcelona signs Greenwood

Manchester United will collect 50% of any transfer fee Marseille receives for Greenwood which could benefit the Old Trafford club financially.

Rashford joined Barcelona on loan this season after falling out of favor under Ruben Amorim and the Catalan club are reportedly planning to sign him permanently for around £25m [$33m] next summer.
