Barcelona star urged to leave club for move to Saudi league

Barcelona might have one of the best attacking units in the world, and the club has just added Marcus Rashford, too. 

Robert Lewandowski has been with the Catalan club since 2022 and has scored over 100 goals for the club. 

Former Polish goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski has sent a clear message to Lewandowski on his future at the club. 

What did Tomaszewski say to Lewandowski?

Speaking to Super Express (comments via Mundo Deportivo), Tomaszewski urged Lewandowski to leave Barcelona, saying, "Let's be honest, this is the end.

"Robert is not very popular in the team, and the best players of Barcelona do not pass him the ball.

"Robert should finish his time at Barcelona right now and go to a less demanding team in Saudi Arabia, as the best players in the world have done, with the exception of Messi."

There has been a mass exodus of players heading to the Saudi Pro League, as their careers seem to wind down. 

Plenty of Saudi clubs would show interest in Lewandowski, with the forward's career being prolific at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and with the Polish team. 

The former goalkeeper concluded by saying, "Of course Lewandowski has every right to stay, but he must realize that next season he will be a substitute."
