Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has three titles to defend in 2025/26 after securing the La Liga, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup crowns in his debut campaign in Catalonia.
The Catalans overpowered El Clasico rivals Real Madrid, with four wins from four meetings, including the latter two competitions finals.
Flick fell just short of his target of winning the UEFA Champions League, after a controversial semifinal defeat to Inter Milan, and his squad looks in strong shape for the new season.
Boosted by not competing in the FIFA Club World Cup, Flick's squad have benefitted from a football-free summer, with Real Madrid enduring a marathon run to the semifinals in North America.
Flick has a team packed with young talent, led by the mercurial Lamine Yamal, plus experience in vital areas as Robert Lewandowski continues to roll back the years as his No.9.
A revived Real Madrid will pose a threat to Barcelona, following the return of Xabi Alonso to the Spanish capital, and the former Bayern Munich head coach will be looking to lay the foundations in preseason.

Barcelona's 2025/26 transfer, latest rumours
Barcelona completed a quickfire transfer move to bring in Joan Garcia from Catalan rivals Espanyol with the Spanish keeper set to replace Marc-Andre ter Stegen after Wojciech Szczesny signed an extension.
Ansu Fati is the standout departing name, after completing a season-long loan to AS Monaco, but the main transfer news focuses on Nico Williams' fresh rejection of Flick.
Barcelona were infamously turned down by the 22-year-old following his starring role in Spain's UEFA Euro 2024 title win last summer. However, Flick was undeterred, and launched a reinforced offer for him in June.

Despite appearing close, Williams once again opted to stay at Athletic Club, as he signed a 10-year contract extension in Bilbao. His decision was a major blow for Barcelona, as Flick's sole target, with Marcus Rashford and Luis Diaz now eyed as alternatives.
