Barcelona have announced their second signing of the ongoing summer transfer window after they acquired goalkeeper Joan Garcia's signature from Espanyol in June.
The Catalan club had an impressive run in the 2024/25 season, winning the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the Supercopa de Espana.
Now, with the new campaign approaching, Barcelona have signed Roony Bardghji from Copenhagen on a four-year contract valid until the summer of 2029, for an initial fee of around €2 million ($2.35m).
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bardghji's deal was agreed two weeks ago and includes a sell-on clause.
Bardghji arrived at Barcelona over the weekend and met his new teammates for the first time on Sunday, as per ESPN. The 19-year-old's contract with the La Liga giants also includes performance-related add-ons.
The aforementioned report also stated that Barcelona got a good bargain for Bardghji from Copenhagen as the winger's contract at the Danish side was set to expire in December.

What's next for Roony Bardghji and Barcelona?
Barcelona are set to play in three club friendly matches before their La Liga campaign kicks off in mid-August. The Spanish side have a tour of Asia planned for later this month as a part of their pre-season matches.
Bardghji has been reported to be a part of Barcelona's first team's preseason games, and his position in Hansi Flick's squad for the upcoming season will be decided on he basis of those matches.
While the young talent is seen as a long-term investment for Barcelona, Bardghji can also be part of their reserve team.
Reports have also suggested that several La Liga clubs are keen on signing Bardghji on loan.
Barcelona are pitted against Japanese side Vissel Kobe in their first pre-season friendly match on July 27, at Misaki Park Stadium. The Catalans' first La Liga clash of the 2025/26 season is against RCD Mallorca on August 16.
