Bello surrendered six first-inning runs on five hits. He recovered briefly, retiring nine straight batters, before his outing ended after surrendering two more runs in the fifth,
In two starts against the Orioles this season, Bello yielded 16 earned runs on 20 hits in 8.1 innings, putting his status as starter into doubt — again.
