Sarah Michelle Gellar joined Dorit Kemsley in the Bravo Clubhouse for Thursday night’s (March 19) episode of Watch What Happens Live — right after she slammed the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as “boring” on Sirius XM’s Page Six Radio.
While speaking with Page Six Radio co-hosts (and Virtual Reali-Tea podcast co-hosts) Danny Murphy and Evan Real on Thursday morning, Gellar admitted she wasn’t loving Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I think it’s boring,” she said, though she added, “I like the cast. I love Rachel [Zoe]. I think Rachel’s a great addition. I love Boz [Saint John]. I live for Kathy and Jen. I want a spinoff. I want a Jen Tilly/Kathy Hilton spinoff. But it’s slow. It’s just picking up now.”
One cast member Gellar couldn’t support, however, was Amanda Frances, who joined the show this season.
“I don’t think she’s polarizing, I just don’t think anyone enjoys her,” Gellar told the guys. “I want to clarify, I’m sure she’s a very lovely person. If you choose to go on this show, then you have to be ready to open yourself up and be honest. I feel like she missed that memo.”
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum later joined Kemsley, a longtime star of RHOBH, and Andy Cohen, the show’s executive producer, in the Bravo Clubhouse for WWHL, where she seemed to hold back her honest thoughts on the ongoing season. However, Gellar did admit that she would be too “boring” to ever join the show herself.
“Have you not seen how boring I am?” Gellar told Cohen. “I answer everything politely, I get out of drama. I would be the most boring Housewife.”
The actress shared that she’s perfectly happy being “adjacent” to the show via her children, who go to school with Zoe’s sons and former star Crystal Kung Minkoff’s kids. “I’m adjacent enough,” she said.
Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
