First came a lip in shades of red, others a rich burgundy or peach as glossy as the very mirror itself. This is a favorite of the Bridge-Ackermann duo and was seen at last spring’s runway, too.

Then, as Ackermann wanted a “disturbing eye” look, Bridge created two intricate designs. The first was a take on a smokey eye. Taking a more angled approach, she placed dark hues from Tom Ford’s Eye Quad on the outer parts of the lid—keeping the middle nude. “We also have a red metallic eye and a peach metallic eye,” she adds. “These are going to be little accidents on the runway.”

Other models had Tom Ford’s version of pure and natural makeup. While other no-makeup makeup looks skew dewy, this option is has a softness, almost-velvet feel to it, courtesy of the brand’s just-debuted Architecture Multi-Use Foundation Stick. “Haider always loves to create a flawless but natural, healthy complexion so it’s perfect for that,” Bridge says. For a more “porcelain” effect, Bridge might even use a shade lighter than the skin complexion all over the face; then, a few shades darker for contour the cheeks and jawline.

A glossy eye look, by way of a few swipes of its Eye Color Stilo topped with the Runway Eye Gloss, creates a reflective finish to tie everything together. “To mirror the eyes, add a little bit of gloss to the cheeks,” she says. “The reflections that this texture will cause on the runway when they’re looking in the mirror is going to be so beautiful.”
