On Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the New England Patriots are hiring Josh McDaniels for a third stint with the team as their offensive coordinator.
McDaniels brings years of experience to Mike Vrabel's staff, including multiple years as a head coach with the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders.
The news of McDaniels' return to New England has been celebrated by fans of the team and a few players have even shared posts of the offensive coordinator on their social media platforms.
However, wide receiver Kendrick Bourne seems to be the most excited, as he posted his positive reaction on Instagram and Twitter/X.

— Kendrick Bourne Poly (@BournePoly11) January 21, 2025Bourne's lone season with McDaniels in New England (2021) was the best of his career. In 17 games, he caught 55 passes for 800 yards and five touchdowns.
The 29-year-old hopes that he'll earn a spot on the roster and produce like he's capable of again being a year removed from his ACL and reuniting with his former offensive coordinator.
