"I'm being a little cute. I don't think there's anything going to get me in heaven. I really don't. I think I'm not maybe heaven-bound,”

President Trump continued:

“I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make heaven, but I've made life a lot better for a lot of people."

According to People, Trump referenced his goal of getting into "heaven" last month via a campaign message. E-mails were reportedly sent out to supporters asking for donations. The news outlet cited the Independent’s report, which claimed the US President's campaign said:

“I want to try and get to Heaven.”

Notably, the emails reportedly began going out on August 23, 2025, and requested supporters to donate $15 during a “24-HOUR TRUMP FUNDRAISING BLITZ” to the US President. While the subject line of the fundraiser Email read, “I want to try and get to Heaven,” Trump claimed in the same:

“Last year, I came millimeters from death when that bullet pierced through my skin. My triumphant return to the White House was never supposed to happen!... But I believe that God saved me for one reason: TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Meanwhile, the 47th president of the United States, during a phone interview with Fox & Friends on August 19, also expressed his participation as an alleged mediator between Putin and the Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.

He claimed that if he could save “7,000 people a week” from being killed, he would want to try to “get to heaven if possible.” He also complained during the interview about the alleged rumors of him "not doing well" at that time.

For the unversed, the 79-year-old politician was reportedly the oldest person to assume the US presidency when he retook the White House in January 2025. He is also the second-oldest person to ever serve as the President of the US.
