Aryna Sabalenka stunned all in attendance at the French Open on Tuesday with more than just her athletic prowess.
The 28-year-old tennis player hit the court in Paris wearing a suite of jewelry from Material Good, including two dazzling necklaces set with a total of 122.12 carats of garnets and 13.93 carats of diamonds.
Her matching earrings, meanwhile, featured cushion-cut garnets accented with marquise-cut white diamonds.
The spectacular suite also includes a third necklace totaling 81.64 carats of garnets and 8.58 carats of diamonds, which Sabalenka didn’t wear during her match against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.
All set in 18-karat white gold, the suite was designed just for Sabalenka by the jewelry house and “heavily inspired by the distinctive red clay courts of the storied Stade,” according to a press release from the brand.
Continued the statement, “A dynamic mix of stone shapes creates an overall sense of movement across all the pieces, echoing Aryna’s energy and motion on court while paying homage to Material Good’s signature multishape designs.”
Ahead of her game, Sabalenka shared a carrousel of images that featured her new bling, writing, “So excited to reveal my @materialgood jewelery set for @rolandgarros ❤️🔥 obsessed is an understatement and I can’t wait to wear these beauties on the court.”
“Three bold necklaces, one striking silhouette,” wrote Material Goods on Instagram, posting a behind-the-scenes video documenting the suite’s design.
Though these precious pieces might have been designed for Sabalenka, the brand is making them available for purchase as part of its “Aryna Edit,” which celebrates Material Goods’ first-ever jewelry ambassador.
The company describes its partnership with the WTA World No. 1 as one “rooted in fearless self-expression and craftsmanship.”
Suffice to say, these semi-precious stones might well be Sabalenka’s good luck charm for the French Open, as she won her first-round match.
