EA Sports College Football 26 doesn't release until July 10, but the player rankings have already begun to leak out, thanks for web sleuths and TeamCrafters

After a stellar 2024 season in which the Arizona State Sun Devils went 11-3 and won the Big 12 Conference, there's plenty of hype entering the upcoming season.

And for good reason.

While now-New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo has moved on to the NFL, the Sun Devils still have plenty of offensive firepower.

That hype is reflected in this year's unofficial player rankings in EA Sports CFB 26.

Quarterback Sam Leavitt earned a 91 overall rating, tying him for the fourth highest-rated signal-caller in the game.

He sits behind only Clemson's Cade Klubnik (92 overall), Penn State's Drew Allar (92) and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier (92).

Leavitt originally signed with the Michigan State Spartans coming out of West Linn (Oregon) in the class of 2024.

But he elected to transfer during the transition from Mel Tucker to Jonathan Smith and found a home in Tempe.

Last season, Leavitt threw for 2,885 yards and 28 touchdowns with just six interceptions.

He is considered a darkhorse Heisman Trophy candidate this offseason and will be a player to watch in future NFL drafts.

Joining Leavitt on the 90-plus-rating club is wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, who comes in at 94 overall, third in the game at his position.

He finds himself behind only Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith (98 overall) and Alabama's Ryan Williams (95 overall).

Tyson's 94 ranking puts him in a tie for the seventh highest-rated player in the game.

Last season, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound receiver hauled in 75 receptions for 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Of note, Army running back transfer Kanye Udoh comes in at an 88 overall, while Arizona State's top defender is safety Xavion Alford at 91 overall.
