It's a new era for the Arizona Cardinals for a lot of reasons.
It starts with a new head coach, Mike LaFleur. They've also parted ways with long-time QB Kyler Murray. Entering the 2026 NFL Draft with the No. 3 overall pick, there's a lot of work to be done for the Cardinals.
They're viewed as a candidate to potentially trade their way around the board, too. So they'll be a team to keep an eye on throughout the draft weekend.
With the first round on Thursday, second and third rounds on Friday and fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, we'll be keeping track here of everything the Cardinals do during the draft.

Cardinals NFL Draft needs
- Quarterback: After parting ways with Murray, it's clear the Cardinals need a QB. They've been heavily linked to Alabama's Ty Simpson, potentially with a trade into the back half of the first round. If they don't take Simpson, it would still make sense to get a QB later on.
- EDGE: The Cardinals are viewed as a candidate to take a pass rusher early. If they go a different direction, count on them getting one as the draft goes along.
- RB: The Cardinals are getting linked to Jeremiyah Love from Notre Dame, too. Even if they don't do that, it suggests they're viewing running back as a key target in the draft.
