ARC Raiders fans want devs to remove this ability

A majority of ARC Raiders fans have been highly disappointed with one of the key features of the game. ARC allows players to share blueprints, and according to a large chunk of the community, it is detrimental to the health of the game and goes against the core essence of what an extraction shooter is supposed to be.

In this article, we will explore why ARC Raiders fans want blueprint sharing to be removed from the game. Read below to know more.

Should blueprint sharing be removed from ARC Raiders?

A blueprint in ARC raiders refers to those plans that allow players to learn and craft different items in the game. Now, you get access to different high-tier blueprints in the game by going on Expeditions. These Expeditions are perilous journeys where you build a caravan for your high-level raider and then send them on a long and treacherous journey to uncover new items, blueprints, skills, and much more.

After completing an Expedition, your character's progress is wiped away, and you start anew with a few lingering advantages. The exact point of the Expedition is to essentially gain prestige as a new Raider and uncover some permanent bonuses for your next character.

A segment of players is circumventing the entire process by misusing the trade feature that is available in ARC Raiders. Once a player completes their Expedition, they drop all their gear to their friends. As soon as they start afresh with a new character, they ask their friends to return their gear, becoming more powerful than ever.

It's evident that this was not an intentional mechanic in the game, and the apparent misuse of it has led to the community feeling quite frustrated. User @TheShannimal_ has recently made a post on X, expressing their displeasure with regard to this, and they, like many others, expect this to be patched with a fresh update very soon.

We are expecting Embark Studios to take appropriate action and issue a fix to prevent players from misusing these game mechanics for their selfish progress. All in all, we believe that, though harmless, pursuing such tactics simply takes away from the core gameplay experience offered by ARC Raiders, and should be amended in order to preserve the vision and philosophy of the game.

That's everything that you need to know about the removal of blueprint sharing in ARC Raiders.
