Anything is possible with Knicks’ unshakeable confidence

BOSTON — Many feign confidence. I’ve rarely seen an NBA player declare he wasn’t good enough, he wasn’t strong enough, he wasn’t ready for pressure or wasn’t capable of overcoming an obstacle. 

They all say they want the big shot. 

Few convert it. 

These Knicks as a whole, however, are true in their faith. If the game is within striking distance, there’s a real belief, a genuine calmness or maybe it’s confidence, about leaving the arena in victory. And even when the deficit feels insurmountable, these Knicks are so poised that a comeback is always somehow accessible.
