Worldline:

“Agent-initiated payments need two things to work at scale: infrastructure that can verify who is paying and what they are authorised to do, and merchants who can accept those payments without rebuilding everything. Worldline does both. By supporting Ant International’s Agentic Mobile Protocol (AMP) across our Alipay+ integration, Worldline enables merchants to accept agent-initiated transactions seamlessly through the mobile wallets their customers already use. That means merchants can capture new agentic commerce flows securely and simply — without added operational complexity and without the need to integrate separate systems.” – Gertjan Dewaele, VP Product & Technology at Worldline.

A traveler shares necessary information with an AI assistant for a hotel booking — specifying the destination, dates, budget, and preferences. Then the agent automatically searches for hotels, compares options, makes recommendations, and, once authorized by the user, completes payment through the user’s existing wallet.
Article content
AMP enables AI to move from finding the right product to closing the purchase in an end-to-end closed cycle. Users continue with their familiar digital wallets and payment accounts, without having to create new accounts, re-link bank cards, or learning new payment methods. AMP reduces the steps needed for agent-wallet linkage by up to 50%, reducing the back-and-forth switching between AI and payment interfaces. Once authorized, the AI agent directly invokes existing payment capabilities to complete the transaction.
