Even with the resurgence of Mike Trout, the Los Angeles Angels have the worst record in the American League.
It appears that there's a strong chance the Angels' postseason drought will extend to 12 seasons.
Naturally, that could make the Angels sellers at this year's trade deadline. It could also mean a few players will be pushed off the roster to make room for up-and-coming prospects who are ready for their first taste of the Majors.
Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller tabbed former All-Star infielder Adam Frazier as the most probable player on the Angels to be designated for assignment.
"Meanwhile, Vaughn Grissom (who is out of options) has been playing reasonably well in what has been a near-everyday role since mid-April," Miller wrote about Frazier's limited playing time. "So, once both Nolan Schanuel and Yoán Moncada return from the IL, it would make sense for the Halos to keep Grissom as their utility infielder while showing Frazier the door."

In 40 games with the Halos, the 11-year veteran has hit just .210/.297/.333 with one home run and a .630 OPS.
Perhaps Frazier can find a more suitable club that can offer more playing time. With the amount of experience he has, there could be many teams interested in an extra infielder with a 95 career OPS+.
Los Angeles signed Frazier in the offseason, hoping his All-Star capabilities with the Pittsburgh Pirates were still in there somewhere. That's no longer the case, but he remains a solid clubhouse guy and versatile defender.
