Injuries may have prevented Mike Trout from pursuing the greatest records MLB has to offer.
But the all-time great Angels outfielder has still put together an incredible career, and he is on the verge of two impressive milestones.
Trout exits the All-Star break with 395 career home runs and 995 career RBI.
There have been 307 players in MLB history to reach 1,000 RBI, while just 58 players have gotten to 400 homers.
Trout starts the second half in Philadelphia, not far from where he grew up in New Jersey.
At most, it'll probably take a few weeks for Trout to join both the 400-HR and 1000-RBI clubs.

On the season, Trout has 17 home runs and is hitting .238/.365/.471.
He also has some legends in front of him on the way to 400 homers. Joe Carter hit 396, Dale Murphy 398 and both Al Kaline and Andres Galarraga 399.
Trout may never be as good as he once was, but it's special to see him continue to shine bright on occasion, and these milestones will be a great reminder of his already legendary career.
