Angels get bad Mike Trout news with injury concern in shocking mid-game move

5 hours ago 1

Mike Trout left Wednesday's game in the fourth inning.

The Angels offered no immediate explanation.

He was removed for a pinch-hitter, Jo Adell, after one earlier at bat and time spent in right field.

Trout has started all 29 games for the Angels so far this season.

The best that social media investigators came up with in the early going stemmed from his only at bat of Wednesday's game.

Trout took a long stride into first base and appears to come up just a little limp-ish after crossing the bag.

He did stay in the game, but maybe it started to get worse as he stood in the outfield.

Angels fans will be hoping this is a false alarm.

And really, all fans of the game of baseball will cross their fingers that Trout can heal up and get back on the field as soon as possible.
