Team USA is through to yet another FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup semifinal -- and two players who have been painted as bitter rivals in the media linked up to help make it happen.
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese combined for four baskets in Berlin on Thursday as the United States drilled Hungary, 108-56, to reach the semifinals of the World Cup.
After the game, Reese revealed all about her connection with Clark, which has come about through years of showdowns where they were on opposite sides of the floor.

"We've played against each other so many times," Reese told TNT's Allie LaForce. "So I'm sure we know each other's game like the back of each other's hand."

The Clark-Reese pick-and-roll is becoming one of Team USA's best plays. It utilizes Clark's skill as a passer, and Reese is difficult to stop when she rolls to the rim and is able to lay the ball in.
"I just easily dished it off to her. She dished it off to me," Reese said about Clark. "She knows my slides."

Late in the third quarter, Reese picked up one of two steals and quickly dished it off to Clark in transition for another lay-in -- two of Clark's 10 points, to go with her game-high nine assists.

It's just the start for both as they launch their national team careers.
"It's fun. We just continue to build chemistry because we know we're going to be USA teammates for a while," Reese said.
