Andy Reid reveals if Chiefs will go QB hunting after Gardner Minshew injury

2 hours ago 2

The Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback stocks have taken a significant hit in the last two games, with Patrick Mahomes (ACL) and now Gardner Minshew (possibly ACL) being bitten by the injury bug.

After the Chiefs' 26-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans that saw Chris Oladokun take his first snaps of the season and throw his first NFL pass, the front office has to get to work...and quickly.

Losing two quarterbacks in quick succession now means the Chiefs have to be proactive in adding a quarterback or two to the roster ahead of Christmas Day against the Denver Broncos.

But will they? Head coach Andy Reid is leaving that in the hands of the front office.

"Well, just by numbers, if that's the case, Brett's [Veach] on it," Reid said.

Chiefs' season coming to horror end

After seeing their playoff hopes end last week, along with Mahomes' injury, it was a bleak time for the Chiefs.

Now, with Minshew's injury and the Chiefs having their first losing season under Reid since he became head coach in 2013, it is a horrible way to end the year.

And the worst part is that it could get worse.

With two games left against the Denver Broncos and then the Las Vegas Raiders, there is a chance the Chiefs could limp into the offseason.

The Broncos game could get ugly, and as for the Raiders? Kansas City wouldn't want to be losing that.
