There has been a lot of speculation about Andrade's future following his sudden departure from WWE. The 36-year-old recently posted a massive tease on social media amid all the chaos.

The Mexican star showed up at the sixth anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite within a month of his WWE departure. However, his appearance reportedly violated the non-compete clause in his contract with the wrestling promotion, and consequently, he could be forced out of action for a year. He did not show up on AEW after that.

Andrade made headlines again after he reportedly walked out of a wrestling show in Mexico. However, he addressed it with a sarcastic remark, claiming he went to a Chinese food corner after walking out.

Earlier today, Andrade posted some pictures of himself with a cryptic message teasing there was a lot to his side of the story. Although the 36-year-old noted that he had nothing to say despite having so much in mind, he might disclose the details in the future.

Wrestling veteran shares his opinion on Andrade's non-compete situation

While speaking on an episode of Writing with Russo on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, former WWE head writer Vince shared his take on Andrade not being able to compete for a year due to his contract breach.

Russo pointed out that both the WWE and AEW had great lawyers. He opined that if it came to a legal battle, the court would rule the judgment in favor of the former WWE United States Champion. He recalled a similar incident that happened in the past.

"Let's face it, man. Vince McMahon and TKO, do they have great lawyers? Yeah, bro. So do the Khans, okay. When you're billionaires, man, you've got good lawyers. And I tell you, bro, I remember this going all the way back to about 1995-ish when Steven Regal fought this, and it came back- you cannot prevent somebody from making a living. And he won, and he was able to work. So, I mean, it's been proven in the past that this will not hold up in a court of law," Russo said.

Only time will tell how much longer it takes for the Mexican star to make his return to in-ring action.
