Andie MacDowell knows the power of a good suit.

The “St. Elmo’s Fire” alum posed on the Cannes Film Festival 2025 red carpet on Wednesday, clad in a classic black tuxedo and coordinating bow tie.

Attending the premiere of “Mission Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” MacDowell juxtaposed the timeless menswear look with glamorous sequin heels.

She pulled back her signature gray hair, with strands on one side sweeping across her forehead, averting all the attention to the sharp, polished red carpet ensemble.

The actress, 67, went with a smokey eye and light pink lipstick for the occasion.

The look tracks with MacDowell’s recent declarations that she wants to be seen as a “silver fox.”

“I like all the terms we use for older men,” she said in 2023 at the same film festival. “I want to hold onto those terms. I want to be debonair. Why not? What a beautiful term.”

However, most women don’t dress in suits while in Cannes; in fact, the organization announced changes to their dress code this year, banning “nudity” and “voluminous gowns” this year.

The premiere for Tom Cruise’s eighth and final installment of the “Mission Impossible” franchise also drew in celebrities like Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria and Halle Berry.

Klum made headlines yesterday after breaking the festival’s new dress code at the opening ceremony, wearing a large Elie Saab floral gown with a long train — a look that’s now prohibited on the red carpet.

“Voluminous outfits, in particular those with a large train, that hinder the proper flow of traffic of guests and complicate seating in the theater are not permitted,” the official charter explained.

For this premiere, though, she seemed to get the fashion memo, opting for a sequin off-the-shoulder dress with a much shorter train than her first number.

Before getting all glammed up for the red carpet, the mother of three kept it casual yet chic in a cropped trench coat, matching midi skirt and block-heel mules.

We can’t wait to see what other looks she brings to the red carpet.
