An Arizona news anchor who saw the possible Nancy Guthrie ransom note told CNN it was “clear after a couple of sentences” that it “might not be a hoax.” Mary Coleman, an anchor for Arizona-based CNN affiliate K.O.L.D 13 News, also revealed that the note had come via email, and that police were searching for an IP address. This comes after “Today” host Savannah Guthrie and her siblings, Annie and Cameron, made a tearful appeal for their mother’s safe return via Instagram on the evening of February 4th.
