Most of the attention for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offseason is on what Mike Evans will do.
We know he's returning, but we don't know where. The Buccaneers appear to have the inside track, but if a Super Bowl is what Evans wants, then he might have to look at playing elsewhere.
Granted, that isn't the end of the world because the Buccaneers have a wealth of options at receiver, but what if the franchise did something unthinkable?
CBS Sports' Josh Edwards says that with Evans a free agent, he wouldn't be surprised if the franchise moves on from Chris Godwin as well.
"Ironically, the selection of Emeka Egbuka in last year's first round felt like a luxury in the moment, but Mike Evans is a free agent and it would not be all that surprising if the franchise moved on from Chris Godwin this offseason," Edwards wrote. "Honestly, Tampa Bay could draft another wide receiver. Tight end could be addressed also."

Could Buccaneers gut WR room?
First of all, we don't know if Evans will play for another team, but for the purposes of this exercise, let's say he does.
Then the Bucs move on from Godwin. That leaves Baker Mayfield with Emeka Egbuka, Tez Johnson, and Jalen McMillan as his top three weapons.
That isn't too bad, but surely fans would feel some type of way if Evans and Godwin both moved on this offseason.
It is a scenario that we don't think will happen, but this is the NFL, so never say never.
But this is potential nightmare fuel for Tampa Bay fans.
