The Kansas City Chiefs sit at 2-3 on the season, and now face a Detroit Lions team that beat up on teams for fun as they have taken on the bullies of the NFC title.
After a rough opening to the season, the Chiefs, over the past two weeks, at least offensively, appear to be trending in the right direction, and Rashee Rice is due to return in the next couple of weeks.
Facing a Lions team that will no doubt make this one a shootout, the Chiefs have scored 37 and 28 points in their last two games, so they will be able to keep pace, you would think, especially playing at home.
And for NFL.com's Dan Parr, he predicts the Chiefs will slay the Lions 30-28 to move to 3-3 on the season.
"Teams coming off an MNF defeat this season are 0-6, but maybe this is where the streak ends," Parr writes. "There were glimmers of hope, even in bitter defeat, for the reigning AFC champions. Now, the question is whether Steve Spagnuolo can get his group to tighten up -- especially against the run -- at least enough for the team to win a shootout at home. I'll believe for at least one more week."

Chiefs have a chance to set Super Bowl narrative
The Baltimore Ravens clash a couple of weeks ago was seen as the game where we would see if the Chiefs were "still the Chiefs," and a 37-20 win confirmed that. But then the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars happened, and now some are skeptical of Kansas City moving forward.
But beat the Lions, and now the Chiefs will have some serious Super Bowl juice.
However, it won't be easy with Detroit scoring at least 34 points in each of its last four games, so Patrick Mahomes and Co. will need to score often just to keep pace, which is why many eyes, as Parr states, will be on the defense.
No one aside from the Green Bay Packers in Week 1 has slowed the Lions down; can the Chiefs?
