The Baltimore Ravens under Jesse Minter will be a fascinating study, mostly because we want to see what sort of turnaround there will be from last season.
The Ravens were poor on both sides of the ball and started 1-5, thanks in part to injuries, before they steadied, only to ultimately fall short of a playoff berth.
So, all eyes are on Baltimore in 2026 because this franchise has to be a playoff team and a Super Bowl contender. But will they?
NFL.com's Tom Blair has the Ravens as the AFC's No. 3 seed with a 12-5 record.
“I saw the Ravens fall apart in 2025; I know they had Real Problems. Lamar Jackson was banged up, no one could rush the passer and the entire operation -- including the QB himself -- looked utterly ordinary for the first time in recent memory,” Blair wrote. “This might be the most good on paper projection of an extremely on paper exercise, with plenty of ways to go wrong on the field, but for now, I'm buying in.”

Can Ravens bounce back?
Any team that has Lamar Jackson, you're going to have faith in as a playoff team, but faith only gets you so far; you've got to get it done on the field.
Prior to last season, Lamar had won at least 12 regular-season games, so the drop-off was big, and Jackson was 6-7 from 13 games.
Now, with a full offseason and hopefully the injury bug staying away, coupled with Minter as the fresh voice, who knows what Baltimore we are going to get.
Will it be the swashbuckling offense? Or will we see the struggles continue?
Blair has faith, and so do I...for now.
