Some NFL teams and their needs can be tough to get a proper read on as the draft approaches, but for the Baltimore Ravens, what Jesse Minter's roster needs in the first round appears easy to predict.
Of course, given the nature of the draft and its unpredictability, you can never say a team is going to select a player with any certainty (maybe the Raiders and Mendoza), but for the Ravens, it appears the list of players is narrowing.
Given the offensive line needs, it makes sense for Baltimore to look for reinforcements in the draft, as Tyler Linderbaum left in free agency.
And for NFL.com's Eric Edholm, in his latest mock draft, he's got the Ravens, as most have, taking Spencer Fano at pick No. 14.
“The Ravens have questions along their offensive line for the present and future, and I've spoken with people from some teams who think Fano is a potential five-position prospect,” Edholm wrote. “This is an easy match of skill and play style to the team, as well.”

Ravens need all luck in 2026
Last season wasn't good for the Ravens, but they didn't exactly get any help from the football gods, as injuries caused havoc for John Harbaugh's team.
Lamar Jackson was in and out of the lineup, and when he was in, he didn't play well, plus the defensive injuries as well, it was all a horror nightmare that Baltimore couldn't wake up from.
Now, with Minter at the helm, the Ravens are hoping for a smoother ride injury-wise in 2026, and at the very least, having No. 8 upright for the season. That at least gives Baltimore a fighting chance.
And to have Lamar upright, his offensive line has to be stout, and adding a bona fide starter like Fano is a good place to start for the AFC North franchise.
