The tourist’s husband rushed to inform security guards that his wife had done something “outrageous” moments after the fall, according to local media.

An investigation into the woman’s death is ongoing and her husband will be questioned by the authorities over the deadly incident.

The Breathless Cancun Soul Resort & Spa, a 429-suite resort, is around 25 minutes from Cancun airport and it’s located along the Kukulcan Boulevard – which is known as the city’s hotel zone.

The 13-mile strip is home to family-friendly hotels, luxury resorts, and adults-only hotels.

The Hard Rock Hotel Cancun, JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa, Hotel Riu Palace Kukulkan, and Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Cancun are just some of the resorts located on the strip.
