Randy Madden, a contestant on “American Idol” Season 8, has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a minor.
On Monday, Madden, 45, was charged with six felony counts including unlawful sexual intercourse, oral copulation of a person under 18 and anal and genital penetration by a foreign object.
He’s also facing charges of sending harmful matter, luring and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime, according to TMZ, who was the first to report the news.
Court documents obtained by the outlet claim the charges are in relation to at least one sexual encounter that took place sometime between July and September.
The victim’s age remains unclear at this time.
Madden pleaded not guilty to the charges and was taken into custody with the help of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

He eventually posted $100,000 bond on Tuesday morning, and was released from jail.
Page Six has reached out to both Madden and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department, but did not immediately receive a response.
“American Idol” fans may remember Madden from his wild Season 8 audition on the reality singing competition in 2009.
Madden auditioned in Phoenix, where he performed his rendition of “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi in front of judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
However, he was unsuccessful in his attempt to go to Hollywood as all four judges voted “no,” and his journey on the show ended.
That year, Kris Allen went on to win the competition after facing off against Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey.
