Ambuja Cements Q4 net profit surges 37%

Mumbai: Ambuja Cements announced its earnings for the March quarter on Monday, and its consolidated net profit rose over 37% on year to ₹1,857.4 crore, largely on account of a tax credit of ₹1,329.3 crore.
Sales volume for the quarter rose 10% on year to an all-time high of ₹19.9 million tonne, while revenue rose 9% on year to an all-time high of ₹10,915 crore.
"Cost pressures from fuel, diesel, packaging bag supply constraints, and rupee depreciation impacted this quarter and impact expected to continue in H1 FY'27," the company said.
