Piers Morgan has reacted to his recent interview with Candace Owens getting viral. The British journalist spoke to Owens about her conspiracy theories regarding Charlie Kirk's death, among other things.

Candace Owens has spread numerous conspiracy theories following Charlie Kirk's assassination. The late right-wing activist was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. A man named Tyler Robinson has been arrested as a suspect in the case, but Owens has claimed that he allegedly didn't take the shot.

Piers Morgan questioned her claims during an episode of Uncensored, released on Wednesday, December 17. On December 18, the British journalist shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), providing an update on the interview, writing:

"UPDATE: This interview’s already been viewed 1 million times in just 15 hours. Whatever you think of @RealCandaceO - she always pulls a crowd."

Candace Owens also shared her thoughts on the interview in an X post on December 18. A geopolitical commentator, John Mappin, praised Owens and Morgan's "mutual respect and a friendship" in an X post. Owens quoted it and replied:

"Piers and I keep up our warm Christmas tradition of insulting each other, betting against one another, and being generally disagreeable across every topic. Now the holiday season has officially begun."

Candace Owens' numerous conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk's assassination have gone viral. She has said that some Turning Point USA members knew about the threat to his life. She even claimed that some influential people from France and Israel were involved in Kirk's death.

However, she hasn't been able to provide any evidence for all these claims. Piers Morgan claimed during her interview on Uncensored that Owens has earned a lot from sharing these theories, saying:

“I just know you’re saying a huge amount of stuff. It’s making you very wealthy, millions and millions of people coming in, which–”

Owens added:

“What is this idea that’s making me very wealthy? Can you actually explain that slowly to people?”

Morgan further cited previous examples and claimed that Candace Owens might have gained many YouTube views since Kirk's death. Owens slammed the journalist, saying:

"Come on. Piers, money on YouTube? Are you kidding me? I was already a top-10 podcast globally before Charlie was assassinated. And if you think that I would want my friend to be assassinated so I could go from being in the top five to being number one, you’re out of your mind, ok?"

The two also clashed on the lack of evidence. When Morgan asked Owens to name the TPUSA members allegedly involved in the assassination, she answered:

“Because I don’t have concrete evidence is the reason why I’m not naming them."

Piers Morgan slammed her, saying that she has been making these claims without any evidence and "telling the widow that these two people may have been involved in the murder.”
