- Stratton’s guests who purchased the new premium Black Bear Pass will have access to an elevated guest experience at a new premium lounge located above the Guest Services building in the main base area of the Vermont destination. The club will offer slopeside access, a full restaurant and bar, wood-burning fireplace, and magnificent views of the mountain action from its new floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor deck.
- CMH Heli-Ski & Summer Adventures in British Columbia will debut a refreshed CMH Valemount Lodge experience – one of the most coveted private heli-skiing experiences – complete with 10 fully renovated modern guestrooms, exceptional hospitality, private jet charter and a personal helicopter to explore its famed 400+ backcountry runs.
- Mammoth Mountain will unveil a new restaurant concept, Apricity, at The Westin Monache. Guests can expect a fully reimagined space, food & beverage offerings and experience featuring an open floor plan and a menu that emphasizes seafood, family-style entrées and seasonal specials.
- Steamboat in Colorado is repurposing excavated material from The Stockman, an Auberge Collection hotel and residences, to re-shape the base of Maverick’s Halfpipe, located in Bashor Bowl. This will reduce snowmaking and natural snow required to build the halfpipe by 60%, while also allowing the facility to open earlier in the season.

For the coming year, Alterra has committed to continuing its investment in workforce housing. These investments will include critical housing renovations at Palisades Tahoe, Mammoth Mountain, Snowshoe, Steamboat and Crystal Mountain. Alterra is facilitating ground up development of employee housing at Palisades Tahoe and acquiring a new housing property for Sugarbush. In the past year, Alterra secured 160 new employee housing beds for Crystal Mountain and invested in renovations that helped improve the lives of 200 employees across four communities.
