MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — OneShield, a provider of modern, AI powered systems for commercial property & specialty insurers and MGAs, today announced that ALPS Property & Casualty Insurance Company (ALPS), the nation’s largest direct writer of lawyers’ malpractice insurance, has gone live on OneShield Market Solutions (OMS) for policy administration of its LawyerCare lawyers’ professional liability (LPL) program. The implementation positions ALPS to operate its recently acquired broker-distributed book of business on a modern, scalable core platform purpose-built for specialty carriers.

The initial go-live was completed in about 6 months from project start and focuses on policy administration for the LawyerCare program, replacing a legacy platform with OMS’s modern, cloud-based infrastructure. OMS provides ALPS with pre-loaded insurance content, configurable workflows, and a managed-service delivery model that bundles the system, implementation, support, and ongoing enhancements under a single subscription.
