Mutations are an integral feature that impacts your income in Raise Animals. They change the animal's appearance as well as boost its value, making it sell for higher prices. An animal can possess any number of these enhancements, allowing you to earn a quick fortune by giving mutated creatures to the Sell Shop.

In Raise Animals, a random weather event occurs every hour on a server. Such events last five minutes, and in that duration, all your animals on the farm get a small chance of catching a Mutation. The odds of getting mutated critters cannot be increased by using any items.

Mutations and their benefits are stackable in this Roblox game. However, a creature can only possess one Mutation of a kind. A Tiger cannot receive the Haunted Mutation twice but the carnivore can get both the Haunted and the Spooky Mutations.

While most weather events occur after intervals of 30 minutes, the Eclipse event can happen only during an Admin Abuse. This means you must wait for the developers to trigger the event and then get the Eclipse Mutation on your animals.

The developers also bring event-exclusive Mutations from time to time. For instance, during the Halloween update, players were able to get the Haunted Mutation by depositing 500 points' worth of animals in the event cauldron.

As of this writing, the Eclipse Mutation is the best in Raise Animals. It increases the sale value of your animals by a whopping 15x multiplier, surpassing the previous best of the Black Hole Mutation by a small margin.

The event tied to the Eclipse Mutation is activated by the developers. So, log in to the game when an update is about to be released. This is the time when the admins start triggering server-wide events to show their appreciation to players and help them get mutated animals.

Remember, your animals can receive Mutations only if they are deployed in your farm. The ones in your inventory cannot get mutated.
