Alex Rodriguez’s girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro gives a sneak peek into their luxe “Sexy Roman” date night in Arizona

Alex Rodriguez is currently in the middle of a busy week doing promotional work for his HBO documentary "Alex vs ARod". The three-part docuseries opened with a series premiere last Thursday on November 6.

But the former Yankees legend is balancing his professional commitment with his personal life as he enjoyed a luxurious date night with girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro at the "Sexy Roman" restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona. Cordeiro posted a snap on her Instagram on Tuesday, featuring the entrance of the lavish restaurant with a "Date Night" sticker.

"Welcome to Sexy Roman, the sizzling new dining destination inside W Scottsdale, where seductive Italian cuisine meets opulent design and electric energy," the restaurant's website reads.

Earlier in the evening, the fitness instructor had also posted a little clip of a "post-dinner" hiking trail. She also mentioned the soothing 80 degrees Fahrenheit temperature, ideal for a run.

Cordeiro, as a fitness influencer on social media, often shares motivational quotes for her followers. She shared two stories with her fans, motivating them to remain dedicated to their fitness routine.

Alex Rodriguez reveals the name behind the nickname "A-Rod"

The nickname "A-Rod" is almost as famous as Rodriguez's full name. The three-time MVP has even used it to brand his business venture, ARod Corp.

A clip shared on his Instagram from the "Alex vs ARod" documentary revealed former Seattle Mariners play-by-play announcer Dave Niehaus as the person who came up with the A-Rod nickname.

"I'll never forget the great Dave Mahaus," Rodriguez remembered. "He said, "Hey Alex, I hope you don't mind, I called you A-Rod. It kind of sticks. It has a sound to it". And sure enough, it stuck."

The documentary gives an insight into the highs and lows of Alex Rodriguez's MLB career. The three-part series takes the audience through a journey, from his beginnings with the Seattle Mariners to his twelve-year spell with the New York Yankees, where he came under a lot of scrutiny for his off-field drama.
