A passenger on an Air France flight from Paris to Boston died mid-flight Tuesday night despite life-saving efforts made by a doctor on the plane, according to the airline.
Air France confirmed to NBC Boston that the unidentified customer was “taken ill” on flight AF334 from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Boston.
NBC News“Despite the assistance of a doctor on board, the customer couldn’t be rescued,” the airline said.
No further details were given about the tragic flyer nor what led to their death. Fire crews were seen meeting the plane when it landed, NBC Boston said.
NBC News“Air France reminds that its crew members are regularly trained to handle these kinds of situations,” the airline added.
Massachusetts State Police said it was investigating.
