AEW star Mercedes Mone confirms she's done with Blood & Guts match

Mercedes Mone has been basking in her glory in professional wrestling as of late. The CEO recently competed in the brutal Blood & Guts match in AEW. While she gave a tremendous performance in the match, the TBS Champion had a major announcement to make following the event.

This week, Mone teamed up with Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Triangle of Madness to take on Jamie Hayter. Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Harley Cameron, and Willow Nightingale in the first-ever women's Blood & Guts match. Following an epic showdown, Mone and her team managed to pick up the win and etch their name in history.

However, the former WWE star did not waste any time in revealing that she will never compete in the Blood & Guts match in her career again. Taking to X, the TBS Champion expressed her disinterest in working the double steel cage matches down the line.

Mercedes Mone set to make a huge appearance outside of AEW

Mercedes Mone has been on a generational belt collector run in professional wrestling. Therefore, she has been regularly competing in independent wrestling promotions. Following Blood & Guts, Mone is set to make a huge appearance outside of AEW this week.

The CEO will appear at the 'Superclash' show of House of Glory on November 15 in Brentwood, New York. It will be a big show that will feature several former WWE stars like Karrion Kross, Dolph Ziggler, Shotzi Blackheart, and Shayna Baszler.

Mone currently holds 12 different championships across many promotions all over the globe. While she has been on this iconic run for over a year, her momentum does not seem to be fading as of now. With that said, it will be interesting to see how things will unfold for The CEO from here on in pro-wrestling.
